01:38 After 11 months of hard work on Martech Podcast, Ben accomplished 10K downloads and 25K sponsorship inventory sales in the first month of its launch. Benjamin decided to focus on his podcast business rather than continuing his consulting firm.
His consulting business relationship with Searchmetrics turned into a podcast, “Voices of Search Podcast,” sponsored by Searchmetrics. Voices of Search Podcast is being downloaded 100K monthly. Ben thought that developing more content would be his roadmap for 2022. He started the “Revenue Generation Podcast” with one of his friends Doug Bell (CMO of Lean Data). Doug Bell is the show host now, and Ben continues to work on his other podcasts.

- Content As a Service
- Selling sponsorship packages from his podcast network
- A creator cultivation platform for other companies or people to create their podcasts.

With the Martech Podcasts, Benjamin tested to find the ideal time for maximum engagement with the podcast. He found out that 17 to 20-minute episodes have the highest download rate and sustain the listeners until the end of the episode.

That way, not only does Benjamin creates new content but also can reach out to new audiences.
“Voices of Search Podcast” is different. Especially with our regulars like Tyson Stockton and Jordan Koene and our guest speakers, they are targeting a niche market and small community than the Martech Podcast. They simply decide the topic depending on what they want to talk about that week.
“Revenue Generation” Podcast is a new one and has its host, Doug Bell. Therefore, Doug’s team is deciding on the topic and reaching out to prospective speakers.
